Celebrating ATSA Young Talent at the In-House Speed Kick Challenge 2025
Kota Kinabalu, 28 December 2025 : Laughter, cheers, and the sound of determined kicks filled ATSA Alamesra celebrated its annual In-House Speed Kick Championship 2025.
The program, which ran throughout November during students’ regular classes, encouraged every child to challenge themselves while building speed, stamina, and self-confidence. Weekly scores were recorded, and the Top 8 finalists from each category were invited to compete in the exciting grand final 28.12.2025.
What made the event truly special was the strong spirit of family support. Many parents turned up not only to cheer for their children, but also to contribute lovingly prepared food for a shared potluck session .. creating a warm, joyful, and memorable atmosphere for everyone. Their encouragement and presence played a big role in lifting the students’ confidence and energy.
Since its introduction in 2021, the Speed Kick Championship has become a meaningful annual tradition at ATSA, reflecting the academy’s commitment to helping children grow not just in martial arts, but also in character, teamwork, and resilience.
ATSA Taekwondo extends heartfelt thanks to all students, parents, instructors, assistants, and volunteers for their support and teamwork in making this year’s event a wonderful success.
Attention Students!
We are excited to announce that the Speed Kick Score recording will begin on November 01, 2025 and continue through December 07, 2025. During this period, your kick speed and score will be tracked and recorded.
Competition Details:
The Top 8 students from each category with the highest scores will advance to the final round.
In the final round, these top performers will compete for the Top 4 positions in each category.
This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skill, precision, and speed. Give it your best, and good luck to all participants!
